The First HPN Happy Hour & HPN Statement of Values
The HPN is rolling out Podcaster Happy Hours for 2026, and we’re throwing the first one this month on December 12th. All the info is below. This is going to be a place where everyone can come and talk podscasting, episodes they’ve listened to, and what’s going on in the world of podcasting. We hope to see you all there!
We’re also drafting an HPN State of Values and we’d love to hear your feedback. This is a living document, a collaborative document, a statement that we need your help on, so please read the current draft and let us know what you think.
The HPN 2025 Symposium videos will be up soon, so please subscribe to our YouTube channel.
Join us for the first HPN Happy Hour! We’re hosting it on Zoom on Friday December 12th at 5 pm EST. Bring your favorite beverage, your podcasting ideas and questions, and let’s mix it up together!
We hope to make this a monthly event, so please bring a friend as well.
HPN Statement of Values
About this statement
This statement affirms the collective values of members of the Humanities Podcast Network (HPN).
These values guide both HPN’s broad mission and the day-to-day work on our various projects (events, publications, working groups).
This is a living document. We intend to revisit it once a year, and all members are invited to propose additions and revisions.
This Statement of Values was last updated in December 2025. HPN members are invited to share their feedback using this form until Sunday January 11th 2026. All members will then vote on whether to officially adopt the statement.
